Mona S. McCauley, 85, of Minerva, passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Aultman Alliance Hospital.

She was born Oct. 9, 1940, in Glenville, West Virginia, to Leota (Greenlief) Glenaman.

She was a homemaker and a graduate of McKinley High School. She loved spending time with family and friends and enjoyed simple pleasures such as playing bingo, fishing and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry R. McCauley, who died in 2011; her stepfather, Charles C. Woodford; two brothers, Robert Greenlief and Charles Woodford; and a great-grandchild.

She is survived by a daughter, Angela Townsend of Texas; two sons, Rick McCauley of Marlboro and Randy McCauley of Minerva; her best friend and sister, Alice (Bob) Crawford of Minerva; two brothers, David (Carol) Glenaman of Logan and Daniel (Amber) Glenaman of Logan; a stepbrother, Todd (Kit) Woodford of Carrollton; a sister-in-law, Mabel Greenlief of Tennessee; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; her close friend, Ivy Ray; her bingo buddy, Vicky Pitts; and many nieces and nephews.

Following cremation, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
