The Carroll County Genealogy Library will host a free genealogy class at 5 p.m. June 18 at the Carroll County District Library, 70 Second St. NE, Carrollton.

The class will cover genealogy basics, hands-on Ancestry.com training, research techniques, record sources and a tour of the genealogy library. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop if possible.

The class is free, but space is limited. Reservations are requested by calling 330-627-2613.
