MWCD board to hold special meeting June 12
The meeting will focus on lease rates for Windward Shores, a new cottage lease site development at Atwood Lake
The Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District Board of Directors will hold a special meeting at 9:30 a.m. June 12 in Room 100 of the Tuscarawas County Courthouse, 101 E. High Ave., New Philadelphia.
The meeting will focus on lease rates for Windward Shores, a new cottage lease site development at Atwood Lake.
The development, off Lodge Road SW, or state Route 542, will include 18 sublots split into two areas with separate access drives. Each site will provide private access to Atwood Lake, including access to three private cluster docks with a slip for each unit. Two golf cart parking lots will be located at the dock entries, along with private beach access.
Construction is anticipated to begin in summer 2026. Lots are expected to be released in July 2026, with the method still undetermined. Davey Resources Group is the design engineer.
Conservancy Court also will meet at 11 a.m. June 12 in Tuscarawas County Common Pleas Court.
