Betty L. Cap
Betty L. Cap, 82 years, 8 months, 28 days of Baltic, Ohio, passed away at her daughter's home in Dover on April 14, 2026.
She was born July 17, 1943, in East Cleveland, Ohio to the late Thurman and Arline (Martin) Long.
She graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science from Heidelberg University and a master's degree in library science from Western Reserve.
She is survived by four daughters Rachel (Brian) Ice, Rebecca (Craig) Cap Mertens, Megan (Richard) Wood, and Mercy (Pavel) Ermakov, nine grandchildren and one great-grandson.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her eldest daughter Renata Cap.
Graveside services will be held at Maranatha Fellowship, 941 SR 93 NW, Sugarcreek, on Wednesday, April 15 at 5 p.m. with Pastor Eric Miller officiating.
