Sonya Adams
Sonya Marie Adams, 67, passed away peacefully at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida on April 15, 2026.
Born on March 28, 1959, in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Sonya spent most of her life in Marlboro Township, Ohio. She was a proud graduate of Marlington High School, served in the Navy, and dedicated her life to her family and her faith.
Sonya was defined by her generous spirit, infectious laughter, and an unwavering love for everyone she met. A hardworking mother, she held various roles throughout her life to support her children and was deeply committed to serving both her community and her Church.
She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Nathan and Tommy; her mother, Jo Ann; her siblings Clif, Jana and Craig; nine nephews and nieces, two great-nephews and a great-niece, and a wide circle of friends.
She was preceded in death by father, Patrick and niece, Arisa.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held at Werner UM Church, 5116 Werner Church Rd, NE, North Canton, Ohio on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 11 a.m.
