Lake school board updates policies, announces full slate of winter concerts

Board accepts $750 donation from Hartville Lions Club and releases December performance schedule for choirs, bands and orchestras.

At its meeting on Nov. 13, the Lake Local Board of Education updated several policies and made budget adjustments.

The board accepted a donation of $750 from the Hartville Lions Club for the benefit of the Care Team.

A concert featuring country singer Mitch Rossell will take place Saturday, Nov. 22, at 6 p.m. at the Performing Arts Hall. The fifth- and sixth-grade choir concert will be held Dec. 2 at 6 p.m. at the Performing Arts Hall. The sixth- and seventh-grade orchestra concert will take place Dec. 8 at 7 p.m. The high school band holiday concert will be held Dec. 9 at 6:30 p.m. The eighth-grade and high school orchestra holiday concert will take place Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. The seventh- and eighth-grade band holiday concert will be held Dec. 15 at 7 p.m. All concerts will be at the Performing Arts Hall.

The next regular meeting of the Lake Local Board of Education will be held Monday, Dec. 15, at 6 p.m. at Lake Elementary School. All meetings are open to the public, and the agenda for every regular meeting includes time for public comment.
