Board tables variance request for East Bay Circle property
The Lake Township Board of Zoning Appeals approved a home occupation request for a Linden Street property and again tabled a variance request for an East Bay Circle property during its May 21 meeting.

At a public hearing May 21, the Lake Township Board of Zoning Appeals approved a request by applicants and property owners Todd and Tracy Bragg for a Home Occupation Type B at their property at 3041 Linden St. NW, located in a low-density residential (R-1) zone.
The board again tabled a request by applicant Marlin Troyer and property owners Steven and Elizabeth Oakland for a variance to locate an accessory structure in the front yard at their property at 22 East Bay Circle NE, located in a low-density residential (R-1) zone.
The next meeting of the Lake Township Board of Zoning Appeals will be held Thursday, June 18, at 7 p.m. at the township hall, 12360 Market Ave. N.
Consisting of five members and one alternate, all appointed by the Lake Township trustees, the board serves to hear and decide appeals, authorize variance requests, and issue or revoke conditional zoning certificates. Those wishing to speak at BZA hearings are asked to take an oath or affirmation and state their name and address for the record. Decisions of the board are final but may be appealed to the Stark County Court of Common Pleas.
