Thank you, Uniontown Lions Club

Letter to the Editor:

I had the honor of accepting a beautiful Bible presented to me by the Uniontown Lions Club in memory of Don’s passing. On April 24, Jim Raker, who sponsored Don’s Lions membership many years ago, made the presentation along with fellow Lions members Paul Gingo, Norm Anderson and Doug Nabors.

While Don was a member for many years, the camaraderie of the Lions Club was especially evident during the past six months. The Lions Club stepped up when an important need arose for Don. Without hesitation, members jumped in to help. I cannot express how much the kindness meant to us — it is priceless.

I will treasure the Bible and all the fellowship the Lions Club members have shown us.

Thank you for being such a wonderful community service club and for your friendships.
