Kerri Lynell Bennett
Kerri Lynell Bennett, 49, formerly of Big Prairie, Ohio passed suddenly and unexpectedly Wednesday, May 27, 2026, in Fisher, West Virginia.
Kerri was born on January 14, 1977, in Millersburg, Ohio to Robert Lynn Anderson and Sandra Jean (Eason) Anderson. She was a 1996 graduate of West Holmes High School, where she met many lifelong friends, and she began her reputation as the kind soul she continued to be throughout her life. Kerri never knew an enemy.
Kerri had a big heart and enjoyed helping people anyway that she could. She loved her family and spending quality time with her grandchildren. She loved all animals and left behind several well-loved pets.
She spent her free time crafting; riding Harleys with her friends and husband and enjoyed taking trips to Tennessee. She loved country music and more specifically Reba McEntire.
She is survived by her best friend and loving Husband Ervin Bennett of Fisher, West Virginia; her Son, Karter (Roberta) Anderson of Fisher, West Virginia; her stepsons: Ryan Bennett and John Bennett of Mount Storm, West Virginia; her siblings, Kandi (Tom) Hipp of Millersburg, Ohio, Kevin (Jenny) Anderson of Big Prairie, Ohio, and Mike Shedron of Holmesville, Ohio; her grandchildren, Oaklynn, Oshaea, and Orion of Fisher, West Virginia; her nieces and nephews, Alisha (Bronson & Sidney) Patterson of Columbus, Ohio, Ryleigh (Jarrett & Jax) Wonsick of Wooster, Ohio, Halleigh (Kiowa) Looney of Ashland, Ohio, Hunter Shedron, of Wooster, Ohio; her very special friend Natasha Robart of Elyria, Ohio, whom she loved like a daughter; and many cousins and dear friends that she loved so very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lynn Anderson, Sandy Anderson; her grandparents, Cora and Ralph Anderson, and Richard and Faye Eason.
Kerri was laid to rest in a private graveside service at Hose Family Cemetery, in Moorefield, West Virginia, on Monday, June 1. The family will be holding a celebration of life picnic in her honor on Sunday, June 7 , 2026 at 3 p.m., it will be at Lake Memorial Park, located at 13367 County Rd. 100, Big Prairie, Ohio, we invite all friends and family to gather at the park to celebrate her memory and share stories.
