Sara L. Wright
Sara L. Wright, 89, of Coshocton, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026.
Sara was born in Coshocton, on May 9, 1936, to the late Arthur and Mildred “Millie” (Bantum) Whittemore.
In her earlier years, she worked at Ohio Bell and Shaw Barton. Many remember Sara from her years working at the Coshocton Bowling Alley and Circle K.
She loved animals, especially horses, following her grandchildren’s activities; she also treasured spending time with her great-grandchildren.
Sara is survived by her daughters Jana VanDusen and Amy (Tim) Milligan both of Coshocton; sister JoAnna (Dick) Kimberly; grandchildren Mark (Katie) Wright, Aaron (Dominiquee) Jennings, Justin (McKayla) VanDusen and Ryan (Kylee) Jennings; great-grandchildren Maddison, Juliana, Aubrey, Liam, Cypress, Cooper, Jaxtyn, Jayce, Lenyx and Jazlynn; several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Janet Ashman.
A celebration of life will be held at the Coshocton Elks Lodge, 434 Chestnut St., Coshocton on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 2-4 p.m.
