Talent, not luck drives Waynedale's comeback
Betty Kobel
Betty Kobel, 81, of Coshocton, passed away on June 4, 2026, at Akron General. She was born on December 30, 1944, in Prague, Oklahoma, to the late Eugene and Margie (Willingham) Rogers. On December 30, 2011, she married Joseph Kobel.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and crafts. Betty and Joseph enjoyed camping together and spending time with friends and family.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her children, Laurie (Michael Clutter) Gray, Lisa (Andy) Love, Robert “Henry” Newman, and Michael Newman; numerous grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her brother, David Rogers.
A cremation will take place with the Miller Funeral Home and Crematory.
