Coshocton event aims to boost voter turnout
Common Good Coalition PAC and local Democrats will host a free June 4 gathering at artPARK as organizing expands across East Central Ohio
Rural Ohio is experiencing a surge in grassroots activism during this election cycle, with new organizations emerging to support candidates and issues statewide.
One organization, Common Good Coalition PAC, has formalized its presence as individuals from 11 counties in East Central Ohio join forces to Flip the 12th Ohio Congressional District, aiming for Democratic leadership. Residents are calling for policy changes and greater accountability from their leaders.
The Get Out The Vote Coshocton Event is scheduled from 5-9 p.m. Thursday, June 4 at the artPARK on Main Street in Coshocton. This free community event will feature local musicians, local and regional Democratic candidates/politicians, and a food truck. The event is hosted by Flip the 12th and the Coshocton County Democratic Central Committee, presented by the Common Good Coalition. Check out the event on Facebook for the full entertainment lineup.
