Sharon L. Taylor
Sharon L. Taylor, 70, of West Lafayette, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026, at her residence.
Sharon was born February 26, 1956, in Petersburg, Virginia, to the late Edward and Mary (Tennant) Weingarth. She formerly attended First Baptist Church and enjoyed painting and doing crafts.
She also enjoyed fishing and playing bingo. Sharon loved her dogs Sammy, Teddy, and Stewart, and was an excellent cook.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Taylor; her children, Charity Orlando, and Stephanie (Brian) Siladke; her grandchildren, Richard Glorioso, Jared Siladke, Jordan Orlando, Kaitlyn (Jackson) Lane, and Brandon (Elizabeth) Orlando; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Along with her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Weingarth.
Per her wishes, a cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
