Ronald L. Fittro
Ronald Lee Fittro, 74, of Jewett, Ohio, passed away on April 13, 2026, at Valley Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, Ohio. He was born on April 1, 1952, to the late Caroll Winn and Johan Fittro Holmes.
Ron was a veteran of the United States Navy. He worked as a truck driver for food delivery services. He loved working on and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He loved animals, especially his beloved cat and dogs that he had. He also loved being a grandpa and adored his grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, Joe Sparkman of New Athens, Tracy Sparkman of New Athens, and Steven Fittro of Jewett; grandchildren, Aiden Coleman, Jasper Fittro, Blaze Fittro, Leo Coleman, Michael Minet, Austin Sparkman, Allison Shepherd, and Tate Sparkman; great-grandchildren, Blaze and Cole Minet; and his siblings, Norma Cook of Cadiz, Barbara Palmer of Jewett, William (Carolyn) McIntyre of Uhrichsville, Michael Leroy (Laurie) McIntyre of Jewett, Ohio and Christie Sproull of Carrollton; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. The memorial guestbook may be signed at clark-kirkland-barr.com.
