Cadiz group collecting care package items for military members
Group will meet at June 9 at the Harrison County Senior Center in Cadiz for its Fourth of July packing project
The Harrison County Military Support Group will meet at June 9 at the Harrison County Senior Center in Cadiz for its Fourth of July packing project.
The group will meet at 4 p.m. at the senior center, located at 120 Main St., Cadiz, to pack donated items for service members.
Requested donations include homemade cookies, dried fruit, Pop-Tarts, protein bars, granola bars, puzzle books, toothpaste, toothbrushes, pencils, pens, sunflower seeds, ChapStick, gum, Life Savers, white socks, drink mixes, mints, candy bars and nuts. Organizers said additional care package items also are welcome.
Organizers thanked the Harrison News-Herald and the Cadiz Senior Center for helping support the project and encouraging community involvement.
