Opening day for the Cadiz Women’s Golf League was held May 6 with a scramble, luncheon and meeting.

The team of Roberta Cireddu, Pat Stewart and Kim Ochsenbine took first place, while the team of Tracy Amos, Melissa Leach and Brenda Hartley finished second.

Skill-hole winners included Tracy Amos for longest drive in A Flight, Judy Crawshaw for longest drive in B Flight, Pat Roper for longest drive in C Flight, Pat Stewart for closest to the flamingo and Kim Thrash for longest putt.

Kathy Newburn and Cathy Jackson provided flowers and artwork for decorations and the raffle. Karen Sims won the gift basket.
