Incoming middle school students can get hands-on learning experience at Jefferson County JVS Summer Camp 2026.
The free camp will be held from 9-11:30 a.m. June 2-3 at Jefferson County Joint Vocational School, 1509 County Highway 22A, Bloomingdale. It is open to students from Jefferson and Harrison counties entering fifth through seventh grades.
Students will explore career fields including animal science, early childhood education, cosmetology, carpentry, heavy equipment operation and auto collision. Participants also will receive a free lunch each day.
“The purpose of the free Jefferson County JVS Summer Camp is to provide middle school students with hands-on, exploratory experiences in a variety of high-demand career fields,” said Carina Aulicino, JVS career/workforce specialist.
Registration is open through May 14, and space is limited.
