Cadiz family planting event set June 20
Pathways for Inclusion will host a sensory-friendly activity for children and caregivers from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at its East Warren Street center
Planting With Purpose, a hands-on family activity, will be held from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. June 20 at Pathways for Inclusion Family Resource Center, 239 E. Warren St.
Families will choose from a variety of flowers and personalize a planter by painting and decorating a flower pot together. Children, along with parents or caregivers, will then plant their flower to take home.
The sensory-friendly activity is designed to encourage creativity, fine motor skills, connection and growth while giving children a living reminder they can continue to care for after the event.
All materials will be provided. Participants should bring their creativity and be prepared to get a little messy.
Registration is required at www.pathwaysforinclusion.org/event-details/planting-with-purpose.
