Cadiz Alumni Association awards scholarships
Thirteen students received scholarships totaling $71,450 from the organization
The Cadiz Alumni Association Scholarship Fund Committee announced its scholarship recipients May 22 at the Harrison Central High School Awards Assembly.
Thirteen students received scholarships totaling $71,450 from the organization.
The alumni scholarship fund began in 1985 with $500. Thanks to alumni and friends, it has grown to an endowment of just over $750,000, which is managed by the Cleveland Foundation, the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio in Nelsonville and Advanced Asset Management Advisors in Columbus.
Since its inception, the Cadiz Alumni Association Scholarship Fund has awarded $679,950 to students graduating from the former Cadiz High School and Harrison Central High School.
