Conotton Valley Union Local Schools announced scholarship recipients for the 2025-26 school year, with more than $71,000 in local scholarships awarded so far
Conotton Valley Union Local Schools announced scholarship recipients for the 2025-26 school year, with more than $71,000 in local scholarships awarded so far.
The following students received scholarships and awards:
Paula Albaugh, Class of 2004, received the Edwin A. Preston Scholarship worth $1,000.
Alexis Booth, Class of 2024, received the Braylen Novak Memorial Scholarship worth $700.
Madalyn Burky, Class of 2026, received the Edwin A. Preston Scholarship worth $5,000, the Braylen Novak Memorial Scholarship worth $700 and the Student Council Blood Drive Scholarship worth $500.
Zoey Campbell, Class of 2026, received the CV Band Boosters Scholarship worth $500.
Kelsey Edie, Class of 2025, received the Braylen Novak Memorial Scholarship worth $700.
Taylor Edie, Class of 2026, received the Edwin A. Preston Scholarship worth $5,000, the Conotton Valley Employees Scholarship worth $500, the Midge Bower Memorial Scholarship worth $3,000, the Conotton Valley Alumni Association Scholarship worth $1,000, the Braylen Novak Memorial Scholarship worth $700, the John Evanosky Memorial Scholarship worth $1,000 and the Governor’s Merit Scholarship worth $5,000.
Mylie Galigher, Class of 2025, received the Edwin A. Preston Scholarship worth $3,000 and the Jay C. and B. Nadine Leggett Memorial Scholarship worth $2,000.
Gillian George, Class of 2026, received the Edwin A. Preston Scholarship worth $5,000, the Conotton Valley Employees Scholarship worth $500, the Midge Bower Memorial Scholarship worth $3,000, the Raymond Eugene “Gene” Willoughby Memorial Scholarship worth $1,000 and the Braylen Novak Memorial Scholarship worth $700.
Ashlynn Hammond, Class of 2026, received the Braylen Novak Memorial Scholarship worth $700.
Zachary Putnam, Class of 2025, received the Jay C. and B. Nadine Leggett Memorial Scholarship worth $2,000.
Gretchin Rolli, Class of 2026, received the Raymond Eugene “Gene” Willoughby Memorial Scholarship worth $1,000 and the Braylen Novak Memorial Scholarship worth $700.
Evan Siedel, Class of 2023, received the Edwin A. Preston Scholarship worth $3,000, the Jay C. and B. Nadine Leggett Memorial Scholarship worth $2,000 and the Velma Shotwell Griffin Scholarship worth $1,000.
Daphne Stuber, Class of 2023, received the Edwin A. Preston Scholarship worth $3,000 and the Braylen Novak Memorial Scholarship worth $700.
Whitney Watkins, Class of 2026, received the Conotton Valley Employees Scholarship worth $500, the Bill Clow Lion’s Club Scholarship worth $500, the Conotton Valley Alumni Association Scholarship worth $1,000, the Jay C. and B. Nadine Leggett Memorial Scholarship worth $3,000, the Braylen Novak Memorial Scholarship worth $700, the John Evanosky Memorial Scholarship worth $1,000, the Tuscarawas County Pork Producers Scholarship worth $750 and the Governor’s Merit Scholarship worth $5,000.
Delilah Williams, Class of 2026, received the Conotton Valley Alumni Association Scholarship worth $1,000 and the IVC Scholarship worth $1,000.
Gillian George, a senior, received the Ray Kroc Achievement Award and a $250 cash award. Ella Garrott, an eighth-grade student, received a $100 cash award through the Ray Kroc Achievement Award program.
The Green Valley Ruritan awarded $200 each to its top 10 seniors: Whitney Watkins, Taylor Edie, Kate Liggett, Lillian Booth, Gillian George, Delilah Williams, Zoey Campbell, Madalyn Burky, Ashlynn Hammond and Joseph Warner.
