Belmont College to host June 18 job fair
Employers can meet GRIT Summer Program graduates from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the St. Clairsville campus
Belmont College will host a public job fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 18 in the cafe/cafeteria area of its main campus, 68094 Hammond Road, St. Clairsville.
The event will connect employers with students who recently completed the three-week GRIT Summer Program, an intensive workforce development program designed to build job-ready skills in high-demand industries.
Participants have received training in commercial driving, welding, floor covering, heavy equipment operation, HVAC and data skills for artificial intelligence and large language models.
Organizers said the event offers employers an opportunity to meet motivated, hands-on candidates and develop future workforce pipelines while supporting the next generation of skilled professionals.
For more information, contact Belmont College Workforce Development and Community Education at 740-699-3800 or email wfd@belmontcollege.edu.
Funding for the program is provided by Future Plans and The GRIT Project.
