Guests also are invited to visit the theater’s dining room, which opens two hours before each performance

Three performers seated on a small stage with a small table, dark curtains, and rustic background props.
Bobby Zinsmeister, left, stars as Tevye and is joined by Pete Kuczirka as Lazar Wolfe and Mark Bardall as the innkeeper in the Deersville Community Theatre production of “Fiddler on the Roof.”

The village of Anatevka will come to life on the stage of the Deersville Community Theatre during a four-day run of “Fiddler on the Roof.”

The musical follows Tevye, a poor milkman, and his family as they navigate life in the small village of Anatevka. As changing times challenge long-held traditions and growing persecution threatens their way of life, the community faces being forced from the homes they cherish.

“Fiddler on the Roof” explores themes of family, faith, love and tradition.

Performances will be held June 18-21. Evening performances begin at 7 p.m. June 18, 19 and 20, while the Sunday matinee begins at 2 p.m. June 21. Doors open one hour before each performance.

Tickets are available through Eventbrite at www.eventbrite.com/e/fiddler-on-the-roof-tickets-1990003798932.

Guests also are invited to visit the theater’s dining room, which opens two hours before each performance. Homemade meals and desserts will be available by free-will donation.
