Farm Bureau to host data center discussion
The meeting is intended to begin discussions about data center development in local communities
The Carroll, Harrison, Jefferson and Tuscarawas County Farm Bureau boards will host a Data Center Discussion Meeting from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at the Barr Memorial Center, 322 W. Main St., Scio.
The meeting is intended to begin discussions about data center development in local communities and help residents and stakeholders understand the role they play in the process.
Dale Arnold, Ohio Farm Bureau’s director of energy development, will share updates and resources regarding data center development. His presentation will provide an overview of the current landscape and what it means for local agriculture and land use.
The Farm Bureau encourages attendees to bring questions, concerns or insight regarding data center development. Members also are encouraged to be aware of the issues as future policies are considered. Attendees will have the opportunity to share their thoughts during a structured discussion.
To confirm attendance, email tuscarawas@ofbf.org or call the Carroll, Harrison, Jefferson and Tuscarawas County Farm Bureau office at 330-339-7211.
