PAC announces Summer Movie Musical Series
Starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, the series will showcase musicals on the Performing Arts Center’s 43-by-24-foot screen with surround sound
Back by popular demand, the Performing Arts Center at Kent State University at Tuscarawas has announced its 2026 Summer Movie Musical Series schedule.
Starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, the series will showcase musicals on the Performing Arts Center’s 43-by-24-foot screen with surround sound.
The schedule is:
“Wicked: For Good,” June 23.
“Annie,” 1982, June 30.
“Hamilton,” July 7.
“In the Heights,” July 14.
“West Side Story,” 1961, July 21.
“Newsies,” July 28.
“The Sound of Music,” 1965, Aug. 4.
“Hairspray,” 2007, Aug. 11.
Free popcorn will be available courtesy of The Barnett Realtors. Candy and snacks will be available for purchase from the concession stand and bar.
Tickets are $10. Movie passes are $60 and include eight individual tickets that can be used for any 2026 Summer Movie Musical Series events. PAC members can purchase discounted tickets for $5.
Tickets and movie passes are on sale at the Performing Arts Center box office, 330-308-6400, and online at kent.edu/tuscpac. The box office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Free parking is available. The Performing Arts Center is on the Kent State Tuscarawas campus at 330 University Drive NE, New Philadelphia.
