BCC HOSA students qualify for international competition
All five students will compete next at the HOSA International Leadership Conference from June 17-20 in Indianapolis
Members of Buckeye Career Center’s HOSA Future Health Professionals chapter qualified for the HOSA International Leadership Conference after placing at the state competition April 16-17.
Aubrie Fawcett, Introduction to Nursing, Indian Valley, earned first place and qualified for international competition in clinical nursing. Fawcett is now a two-time international qualifier. Joining her are classmate Alli Reynolds, Introduction to Nursing, Carrollton, who earned second place in patient care technician; Gretchen Stein, Introduction to Nursing, Indian Valley, who earned third place in nursing assisting; Lainey Hershberger, Exercise Science, Garaway, who earned third place in speaking skills; and Zoe Jump, Exercise Science, Garaway, who earned seventh place in the health care issues exam.
All five students will compete next at the HOSA International Leadership Conference from June 17-20 in Indianapolis.
