New Philadelphia Mayor Joel Day and Dover Mayor Shane Gunnoe opened the event, which celebrates local nonprofit organizations and provides an opportunity for them to showcase their services to the community.

Twenty-five nonprofit organizations participated in this year’s event. Entertainment included appearances by The Balloonatik and The Rock Dog mascot, along with musical performances by Bred of Canton, The Next of New Philadelphia, Weasal Face, a Ramones tribute band from Akron, and headliner Dawg Daze of Indianapolis.

At the conclusion of the event, The Rock Dog WDOG 105.9 FM held a drawing among participating nonprofits that remained through the end of the event.
