Library to host property tax panel
Topics will include public safety, schools, libraries, senior services, social services, developmental disabilities services, veterans services, fire and EMS services and other local resources
The Tuscarawas County Public Library System will host a property tax panel at 6 p.m. June 25 at the Main Library.
The community conversation, titled What’s at Stake if Property Taxes Are Eliminated?, will feature representatives from local organizations and communities sharing basic information about property taxes and discussing how property tax funding supports community services.
Topics will include public safety, schools, libraries, senior services, social services, developmental disabilities services, veterans services, fire and EMS services and other local resources.
Time will be allotted for questions and answers.
