Sugarcreek library to host dinosaur program
The Carnegie Museum of Natural History will offer free 60-minute fossil sessions June 26 at the Sugarcreek Branch with registration required
The Sugarcreek Branch of the Tuscarawas County Public Library System will host the Carnegie Museum of Natural History’s mini museum program June 26.
The program will feature dinosaur fossils and artifacts during 60-minute sessions held between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore real fossils and examine detailed replicas under the guidance of museum staff.
“This program is designed to spark curiosity and encourage hands-on learning, making it an ideal experience for budding paleontologists,” Sugarcreek Branch Supervisor Olivia Martin said. “Each session is limited to 30 attendees, allowing for an immersive experience.”
The free family event is open to all, but registration is required. Registration may be completed at tusclibrary.org or by calling the Sugarcreek Branch at 330-852-2813.
The Sugarcreek Branch is located at 120 S. Broadway.
