Benefit fishing tournament planned for Mayson White
The event will benefit Mayson White, who sustained a spinal cord injury during a high school football game

The Leesville Bass Club will host the Mayson White Benefit Open bass fishing tournament July 11 from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Atwood Lake Dam ramp near Mineral City.
The event will benefit Mayson White, who sustained a spinal cord injury during a high school football game in 2025. Proceeds will help with medical expenses and recovery.

Entry fee is $40 per boat. Payouts will be awarded to the top five boats and for Big Bass, based on the number of entries.
