'Trumpet in the Land' seeks local performers
Changes this year will give local talent an opportunity to be part of Ohio’s official state play
"Trumpet in the Land" officials are making experimental changes this year to give local talent an opportunity to be part of Ohio’s official state play.
According to Trumpet General Manager Margaret Bonamico, “Over the years, it has been difficult for local performers with daytime jobs to be a part of 'Trumpet in the Land' due to the time commitment that’s necessary to get the outdoor drama on stage. However, this year we are implementing a partial nighttime rehearsal process, giving everyone an opportunity to be a part of this area’s history.”
Anyone interested would receive a weekly salary for 20 hours of rehearsal per week for three weeks, June 1-18, and a per-performance stipend for two performances a week from June 19 through Aug. 22. Applicants must be at least 17.
For more information or to discuss your exact schedule, contact Bonamico at 330-364-5111.
