Bolivar American Legion to hold Memorial Day parades, services
The services will include tributes to fallen heroes, words of remembrance, music and an honor guard
Bolivar American Legion Post 190 will hold its annual Memorial Day parades and services Monday, May 25.
The Zoar parade will begin at 8 a.m., with lineup at about 7:45 a.m. at the Community Building, the old firehouse. The parade will end at Zoar Cemetery.
The Bolivar parade will begin at 10:30 a.m., with lineup at about 10 a.m. at the site of the old Bolivar School. The parade will end at Lawrence Township Cemetery, across from Fort Laurens.
A Memorial Day service will follow each parade at Zoar Cemetery and Lawrence Township Cemetery. The services will include tributes to fallen heroes, words of remembrance, music and an honor guard.
