Fairfield Township fire department plans homecoming
All proceeds will benefit the Fairfield Township Volunteer Fire Department
The Fairfield Township Volunteer Fire Department will hold a homecoming celebration Saturday, May 16, at the fire station, 6288 Firehouse St., Somerdale.
The event will begin with a parade at 5 p.m. Lineup will begin at 4 p.m. off Riggle Hill Road at Maher Road. Area fire departments, churches, 4-H clubs, local organizations, past festival queens and past department members are invited to participate.
After the parade, food and games will be available, including bingo, roll down, tic-tac-toe, a bounce house and duck pond. Food will include Italian sausage sandwiches with peppers and onions, fish sandwiches, fries, creamed chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, beverages and desserts.
The event will conclude with square and line dancing with Dan Kirk from 8-11 p.m.
All proceeds will benefit the Fairfield Township Volunteer Fire Department.
