April 13 — Deputies responded to a Freeport Tippecanoe address for a suspicious person. Information was gathered for a report.

April 13 — A subject came to the station to speak with a deputy regarding threats/harassment. Information was gathered for a report.

April 13 — Deputies responded to a single-vehicle crash on Main St. in Harrisville. Kaden Carter was cited for failure to control.

April 13 — Donald Staymate was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Harrison County Common Pleas Court.

April 13 — A deputy assisted a motorist who ran out of fuel on Cadiz Jewett Road.

April 13 — A deputy located an audible alarm at a Lincoln Avenue business. With assistance from Cadiz police, the establishment was checked and found to be secure.

April 16 — Deputies were dispatched to a Normal Street address in Hopedale for a possible domestic dispute. Upon arrival and further investigation, it was determined that no crime was committed. An information report was generated for documentation.

April 17 — A report was taken regarding a welfare check on an individual in Freeport. Information was gathered for a report.

April 17 — Deputies were dispatched to East Main Street in Jewett for an assault. Upon arrival, no one wished to pursue the matter and parties were separated.

April 17 — Deputies were requested to assist the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in locating a vehicle involved in an assault near the county line. The vehicle was reported to have gone east on U.S. 250 toward Harrisville. Deputies patrolled the area with negative contact.

April 17 — Justin Lucas was cited for speeding, driving under suspension, failure to wear a seat belt and willful wanton disregard of safety. Passenger Lacey Krupinski was cited for wrongful entrustment and drug paraphernalia. Other drug-related charges are pending.

April 17 — Gary Flangan Jr. was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Harrison County Court on Cadiz-Dennison Road.

April 17 — Deputies were requested to assist the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office with an assault on Hanna Avenue in Adena. Jefferson County is handling the incident.

April 17 — Taylor Perdue was cited for speeding following a traffic stop on Cadiz-Steubenville Road.

April 18 — Deputies responded to a disabled semi on Cadiz-Steubenville Road blocking a lane of travel. The semi was removed from the roadway and information was gathered for documentation purposes.

April 18 — A Cadiz-Dennison Road business reported an abandoned vehicle. After an appropriate amount of time, the vehicle was impounded.
