Graduates deserve their moment
Alex McPeak
Alex Matthew McPeak, 28, of Coshocton, passed away Monday, May 25, 2026, at Summa Health in Akron, OH, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Alex was born in Coshocton, Ohio, on June 17, 1997. He was a graduate of Coshocton High School and Hobart Institute of Welding. He worked at Complete Appliance Repair, where his strong work ethic and wide range of skills were appreciated by all who knew him.
Known as a true jack of all trades, Alex was always working on a project and enjoyed using his hands to create, build, and fix things. He loved traveling, tattoos, and attending music and art festivals. Above all, Alex treasured spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews, who brought him immense joy. He also shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Scooby.
Alex is survived by his loving parents, John E. and Denise A. (Wright) McPeak of Coshocton; the love of his life, Taylor M. Cook; his brothers, Dillon McPeak, Eric (Mikayla Money) McPeak, and Devin M. Wegener; his special sister, Cona Thorpe; his nieces and nephews, Trevis and Gage Wegener, and Karson, Londyn, Dekoda, and Phoenix McPeak; along with many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Mary Wright, and Leonard and Freda McPeak.
Alex will be remembered for his kind heart, hardworking spirit, creativity, and the love he shared with those around him. If you knew Alex, you knew the assignment; tie-dye was Alex’s black, please wear tie-dye in honor of Alex.
Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, OH 43812 on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 11a.m. - 1p.m. with funeral services beginning at 1p.m. Cremation will take place following the services. An online memorial is located at www.themillerfuneralhome.com.
