Mariann Stutzman
Mariann Stutzman, 74, of Berlin, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at home, following a battle with pancreatic cancer.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, at the First Baptist Church of Berlin, with Pastor Tom Nye officiating. A light meal will follow.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice LifeCare, 1900 Akron Rd, Wooster.
Mariann married Ronald Stutzman on December 10, 1971, and he survives.
A 1969 graduate of Lexington High School, she later earned her LPN certification and worked at Mansfield General Hospital and Pomerene Hospital.
She was also a talented seamstress, trusted by many to alter wedding, prom, and pageant gowns, and she worked at Plain & Fancy Fabrics.
Mariann was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Berlin, where she taught Sunday School and sang in the choir. She was also known for her love of plants and her exceptional green thumb.
In addition to her husband, Ronald, she is survived by her son, Ben Stutzman; her daughter, Tereasa Stutzman; her grandchildren, Mia and Izzabella; her special niece, Andrea Povick, and her family; Cade (Jessica) Wagers and their son, Simon; her brother, William (Diane) Sites; her sisters, Sharon Shoaf and Peggy (Greg) Johnson; and many nieces and nephews.
Mariann was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Ron Shoaf.
