Creative Quo marks rebrand anniversary in Millersburg
Local agency celebrates with community event May 8, showcasing branding insights and services
As Creative Quo in Millersburg approaches the first anniversary of its own company rebrand, it marks an important step in the evolution of the company created to help other businesses build their own brand.
Founder and CEO Emily Miller said finding the perfect rebrand for their own company opened the door to showcasing what Creative Quo can do to enhance any business.
“Our rebrand was a few years in the making,” Miller said. “I felt that we had a disconnect between our name and what we were actually doing.”
She said a new brand was important in telling the complete story of her company, which started out focused on graphic design, printing and photography but had grown to encompass so much more. She felt their prior name, Inspire Design Co., didn’t paint the complete picture.
“In the last four years, we started offering full marketing services that included the full breadth of marketing services,” Miller said. “There was a dissonance with the name, and every time I heard it, I hurt a little on the inside.”
The team set to work in developing a rebrand and came up with numerous options. They settled on Creative Quo.
“In thinking about the meaning of the word quo, as in status quo, we are a creative agency that strives to take customers beyond the status quo,” Miller said. “As far as creativity goes, our agency is one of the best.”
The rebranding strategy was put in place, and since then the company has soared to new heights.
“It brought so much clarity in who were serve and the kind of people we want to work with,” Miller said. “It became much clearer who we wanted to serve and who we can serve the best, those being the business owners who are passionate about their products and services, who want to change the world.”
She said the rebrand process helped her step into the shoes of clients facing a full rebrand, providing insight into the anxiety that accompanies the process of rebranding.
In celebration of their one-year anniversary rebrand, Creative Quo is opening its doors in Historic Downtown Millersburg May 8 to celebrate with the community.
During the celebration Miller will speak about the importance of being purposeful in branding and how it needs to grow with a business. She will share what she and her team at Creative Quo learned through the process, and attendees can explore the business and meet the people dedicated to helping other businesses grow.
“It will be a time of sharing stories and candid conversation,” Miller said.
The event will take place from 1-3:30 p.m. at the Creative Quo office and will feature light refreshments.
Creative Quo focuses on helping businesses grow by building a clear, professional identity. The team takes a strategic approach, working with business owners to develop everything from brand messaging and visual design to websites, social media and advertising campaigns.
Their services cover a range including graphic design, web design, SEO, online ads, social media management, photography and print materials, offering clients a cohesive, full-service approach to their marketing and brand presence.
Miller said what sets them apart is their emphasis on strategy and relationships and emphasis on listening to clients' needs as they tailor their work to each business.
“We love partnering with clients who have a new product to bring to market,” Miller said. “It lights us up. But we also love working with established companies to bring clarity into their branding and marketing.”
In addition, the team at Creative Quo presents big-city results in rural Holmes County, meaning business owners don’t have to go far from home to experience success in building their brand.
Miller said while Creative Quo works with people across Ohio and beyond, they remain committed to building growth locally.
“We are rooted in small town,” Miller said. “We will be real with people, and we don’t put on airs. Our goal is to build trust and be honest and kind to clients.”
The celebration May 8 will allow the public to catch the vision and excitement taking place at Creative Quo.
Creative Quo is located at 172 W. Jackson St. in Millersburg.
