Thomas Woodruff
Thomas Eugene Woodruff, 82, of Holmesville, Ohio, passed away on Monday May 11, 2026 at Sycamore Run Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday, May 15 at Alexander Funeral Home, with Pastor Warren Outhwaite officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Township Cemetery, Holmesville.
Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Prairie Township Fire Department, PO Box 121, Holmesville, Ohio; Holmesville Methodist Church, PO Box 37, Holmesville, Ohio; or a charity of the donor’s choice.
Thomas was born June 16, 1943, in Millersburg, Ohio, and was the son of Carlos “Tim” and Jessie (Lecky) Woodruff.
He was a Holmes County resident all his life. Tom was a 1961 graduate of Waynedale High School Southeast Local School District and a 1963 graduate of Wooster Business School. He retired from Magni-Power Company after 37 years, serving as treasurer.
Tom married Treva Eileen Sprang and she survives. He was a proud former volunteer of the Prairie Township Fire Department.
Tom loved the outdoors, especially camping, farming, and riding ATVs.
Surviving in addition to his wife Treva are children, Jeffrey Eugene Woodruff of Millersburg, Lori Ann (Sylvia Barnett) Woodruff of Millersburg; grandchildren, Jessica Nicole (Simon) Geissendoerfer of Germany, Jamie Colleen (Jonathan) Clawson of Tennessee, Jenna Alexis Woodruff of Millersburg; two great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter; brother Paul (Sherri) Woodruff and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Marcy Ann Woodruff and former wife Mary Jane Jeffries Woodruff.
