Charlie W. Kail
Charlie W. Kail, 74, of Stone Creek, formerly of Jewett and Carrollton, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Altercare Majora Lane in Millersburg. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Born Feb. 2, 1952, Charlie was a son of the late Harry W. and Helen L. (Linard) Kail.
He worked as a certified crop adviser and feed specialist for more than 25 years with the Carrollton Farmers Exchange. He loved being on the farm. Over the years, he worked as a dairy, beef and hog farmer in Jewett. Charlie was also the owner of Char-Mar-K Farms. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and gardening with his grandchildren.
Charlie will be missed by his wife, Deana (Myers) Kail, whom he married Aug. 26, 1972; sons, Jason Kail of Virginia and Jeremiah (Tiffany) Kail of Stone Creek; grandchildren, Caroline (Keala) Smith, Alexander Kail, Gavin Kail, Garrett Kail and Grayson Kail; and brother, Mark Kail of Florida.
A celebration of Charlie’s life will be led by Pastor Bud Votaw on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at 2 p.m. at the Geib Funeral Center at Dover, with the family greeting guests one hour prior to services from 1 to 2 p.m.
