Donna L. Point
Donna L. Point, born Sept. 20, 1936, near Elida, Ohio, to the late John and Ethel (Layman) Powell, died Apr. 13, 2026, in her home near Kenton, Ohio, aged 89 years, 6 months and 24 days.
On September 4, 1961, she was married to Dale J. Point who survives.
Also surviving are her two children, John David (Betty) Point of Kenton and Charity Gayle (Michael) Hostetler of Shreve; eight grandchildren: John Dale (Luanna) Point of Kokomo, Mississippi; Curtiss (Charlene) Point of Foxworth, Mississippi; Joseph (Carolyn) Hostetler of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania; Jason (Barbara) Hostetler of Kenton; Vanessa Hostetler of Kenton; Alan (Abi) Point of Salta, Argentina; Amy Jo Hostetler of Shippensburg, Pennsylvania, and Kay Wren Point of Kenton; and seven great-grandchildren: Tyler Point, Robin Point, Lacey Point, Joshua Hostetler, Lucia Point, Braden Point, and Luis Point; one brother, John (Thelma) Powell of Elida.
A brother, Charles preceded her in death.
Friends may call at the Riverside Mennonite Church, 10930 Twp Rd 135, Kenton, Ohio, from 5-7 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2026, and from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Sunday, April 19, 2026. The funeral will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday, April 20, 2026, at the Riverside Mennonite Church with interment at the adjoining cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home, Kenton.
