Pomerene Auxiliary plans June 19 clay shoot
Fundraiser at Airport Ridge near Millersburg will support hospital operations, equipment and facility improvements
Pomerene Auxiliary has exhibited a penchant for stepping into key moments to aid the hospital with all types of unforeseen expenses and needs over the decades.
As a way of raising funds to continue that role, the auxiliary will host the Pomerene Hospital Auxiliary Sporting Clay Shoot Friday, June 19 at Airport Ridge Sporting Clays.
The funds raised will be essential for the auxiliary to continue its support of the hospital through daily operations, purchasing equipment and making improvements to the facility.
The day will include check-in and registration at 8 a.m. with a light breakfast included, and teams will be released to begin the clay shoot at 10 a.m., with lunch, awards and a raffle drawing beginning around 1 p.m.
At 2 p.m. Annie Oakley will be offered with the winner receiving a gun.
The event is slated for teams of four people, with the cost set at $1,000 per team, which will include a station sponsorship sign. All participants will be entered to win a gun through the raffle.
To register, call Cindy Yoder at 330-763-2001 or email her at cyoder@pomerenehospital.org.
The registration deadline is June 5. Airport Ridge Sporting Clays is located at 9537 County Road 292, west of Millersburg.
