Wayne was born April 11, 1946, in Holmes County, Ohio and was the son of Eli C. and Susie (Mast) Miller. He married Mary Miller and she survives.
Wayne spent 56 years of his life on the open road as a long-distance truck driver, a path that suited his steady spirit. When he wasn’t behind the wheel, you could find him enjoying his favorite breakfast at The Boyd or tinkering away in his garage, always working with his hands, and finding joy in the simple things.
He was deeply loved by his family and many friends, and his presence will be missed more than words can express.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary, with whom he shared more than 56 years of marriage—a true testament to love, commitment, and partnership.
He also leaves behind a son, James Miller, a daughter Brenda (Jake) Hedges; six grandchildren Jordan Dawson, Jade (Ryan) Bolitho, Nathan (Skylar) Miller, Taya Driggs, Makya Driggs, and Falon Driggs; six great-grandchildren, Russell, Preslee, Shiloe, Kane, Kori, and Pierce; sisters Emma Mast and Clara (Eli) Weaver.
His memory will live on not only in those who knew him, but also in his newest great-grandbaby and namesake, Pierce Wayne. A reminder that his legacy of strength, steadiness and faithfulness goes on for generations to come.
