Patricia K. Evans, 85, of Malvern, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Aultman Hospital.

She was born Nov. 11, 1940, in Minerva to the late Harold “Sparky” and Ida (Schandel) Davies.

She was a homemaker and formerly operated a beauty shop in Malvern. She graduated from Minerva High School in 1958 and from Canton Beauty College. She was active with the Malvern Band Boosters for many years. She was an animal lover and caregiver and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Larry Evans, whom she married May 12, 1962; two sons, Michael Evans of Washington, D.C., and Steven Evans of Malvern; a sister, Linda Miller of Minerva; two brothers, Tom (Sally) Davies of Minerva and Kenneth (Judy) Davies of Hartville; two grandsons, Ryan and Josh; and a great-grandson, Tristen.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 1, at 8 p.m. at Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Peggy Garner officiating.

Calling hours will be two hours prior to services from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to a local animal shelter in Patricia’s name.
