Carroll County Arts Center to offer guitar class
The class, taught by Harold Moore, is designed for beginners and will focus on teaching chords without requiring participants to read music
The Carroll County Arts Center will offer Learn to Play Guitar, a six-week introductory guitar course for adults beginning July 6.
The class, taught by Harold Moore, is designed for beginners and will focus on teaching chords without requiring participants to read music. No experience is needed.
Sessions will be held from 6-8 p.m. Mondays through Aug. 10 at the arts center, 204 W. Main St., Carrollton. Participation is limited to those age 18 and older.
The cost is $30, and preregistration is requested by calling 330-627-3798.
Participants must bring their own quality guitar. Guitars will not be provided for class. A chord book also will be available for purchase.
