Katie Ann Hill
Katie Ann Hill, age 84, of West Lafayette, passed away on April 8, 2026, in her sleep at Altercare of Coshocton. She was born on July 13, 1941, in Baltic, Ohio, to the late Mose A. and Susan (Raber) Troyer.
She worked in the home, baking, cleaning, and taking care of her and her husband’s home. On January 14, 1978, she married Chester Hill in Phoenix, Arizona, who passed in 2009. She enjoyed the quiet times of gardening and turning the fruits of her labor into canned goods. Katie and Chester traveled often and enjoyed being outside and camping together.
Katie is survived by her siblings, Lizzie Edwards, Atlee Troyer and Mary Mast, sisters-in-law, Katie Troyer, Mary Troyer, and Anna Troyer, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of Chester Hill.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by many beloved family members and friends.
Calling hours will be on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dan Eggan officiating. Burial will follow at Fairfield cemetery in West Lafayette.
