Brenda J. Berard
Brenda J. Berard, 83, of Amsterdam, went to be with her Lord on April 9, 2026.
She was born June 21, 1942, in Wheeling, West Virginia, to Albert Raymond Marshall and Ruth Evelyn (Morris) Marshall.
Brenda married John “Jack” Berard, the love of her life, and they celebrated 68 years together. She cherished the time spent raising their children. She loved her fur babies, camping and traveling in their RV. Brenda enjoyed feeding and watching birds while living in their country home. Most of all, Brenda treasured time spent with her family, including her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and close friends.
Survivors are her husband, Jack, of the home; children, Robin (Chris) Bugg, Rodney (Cindy) Berard and Rhonda (Garry) Weaver; brother, Fred (Wanda) Marshall and his children, Richelle and Travis; grandchildren, Shawna Berard, Brandon (Mandi) Rea, Kacey Bake (Benjamin), Brady (Brooke) Rea, Kodey (Craig) Seibert, Kory (Alicen) Bake and Brant (Kenzie) Weaver; and great-grandchildren, Baylee, Kailey, Noah and Jonah Bake, Aaliyah Louth, Brynnlee and Bradyn Rea, Charlie and London Seibert, Dak Weaver and a baby girl expected soon.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ruth E. Marshall.
A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, April 18, at the London Township Fire Department building, officiated by the Rev. David Guess at 1 p.m. A light lunch and visitation will continue until 3 p.m.
