Sandy Valley holds graduation for 106 members of Class of 2026

Sandy Valley High School’s graduation for the 106 members of the Class of 2026 was held May 17 in the school stadium.

Addresses were given by class valedictorian Evelyn Pfeffer and co-salutatorians Samantha Moll and Gabriella Richardson.

Pfeffer is the daughter of Travis and Jessica Pfeffer of Magnolia. Her notable accomplishments and activities include being a four-time state qualifier in cross country and participation in All In, Aultman Ambassadors, Student Council and Spanish Club. She will attend the University of Cincinnati to study psychology.

Co-salutatorian Moll is the daughter of Matt and Chris Moll of Waynesburg. Her notable accomplishments and activities include junior varsity and varsity volleyball, JO volleyball, St. James Youth Group, prom committee, LEO Club, senior class vice president, Athletic Leadership Council, Spanish Club, girls track and field, drama club, National Honor Society, hostess and cashier at Cibo’s Italian Restaurant, lifeguard at Springwood Lake Camp Club, Starbucks barista, four-year academic letter winner and two-year varsity volleyball letter winner.

She plans to attend the University of Akron to study civil engineering.

Co-salutatorian Gabriella Richardson is the daughter of Brent and Tammy Richardson of Minerva. Her accomplishments and activities include four years of Social Justice and Aultman Ambassadors, National Honor Society, Buckeye Girls State, three years of Student Council and a four-year academic award.

She plans to attend The Ohio State University to study philosophy, political science and economics.
