Paul R. Miller Jr., 57, of Minerva, passed away Friday, March 20, 2026, at Aultman Hospital.

It is with deep sorrow that his family announces the passing of a devoted husband, father, brother, son, friend and fisherman whose life was defined by hard work, compassion and a love for the simple joys of life. He was a man of the water — at peace with a fishing rod in hand. It was a reflection of his patience, resilience and appreciation for life’s quiet moments.

Those who knew him will remember his stories, his laughter and his love of sports. Always ready to watch and cheer from the sidelines or the couch, his enthusiasm was contagious. His spirit brought people together. Above all else, he was a dedicated husband and girl dad. His daughters were the center of his world. He poured his heart into raising his daughter with strength, kindness and unwavering support. He was her protector and biggest fan.

He was born Jan. 6, 1969, in Rochester, New York, to the late Paul R. Miller Sr. and Norma (Sprankle) Miller. He was a press operator for AAM in Minerva and Malvern and a member of Malvern First Christian Church. He graduated from Malvern High School in 1987 and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Gulf War.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly (Barrick) Miller, whom he married June 20, 1992; a daughter, Julia Miller of Huron; a sister, Lisa Miller of Minerva; his faithful companion, Gracie; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond Miller.

Paul will be remembered for his caring nature, strong work ethic and deep love of his family. Though he is gone, his legacy lives on in the lives he touched and the memories he leaves behind.

Following cremation, a celebration of life will be held Saturday, April 11, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Malvern First Christian Church, where full military honors will be conducted at 1:15 p.m.
