Democratic and Republican candidates for their respective party central committees have been announced for the May 5 primary/special election in Carroll County’s 23 voting precincts.

For Democratic candidates, one person is to be elected in each precinct for a full four-year term.

Filed in Augusta was Terri Ossler. No one filed in Malvern or Minerva. Brown A had no candidate, while Brown B has Linda Lee Farmer and Brown C has Ronald W. Mayle Sr. Ray Morgenstern filed in Mohawk.

No one filed in Carrollton A or Carrollton B. Paula S. Puch filed in Center, Mary Ann Bryan in East and Bruce Carlton in Fox. No one filed in Harrison A or Harrison B.

No one filed in Lee or Loudon. Valerie Gardner filed in Leavittsville. Janice B. Marciniak filed in Monroe, David W. Devey in Orange and no one filed in Perry. Jan H. Kennedy filed in Rose, Thomas Postlethwait in Union and no one filed in Washington.

For Republican candidates, Jeffrey Mangun filed in Augusta, Lucinda Oyer in Malvern and Sarah Elizabeth Ellis in Minerva.

No one filed in Brown A or Brown B, while Lisa Borton filed in Brown C. Ron H. Tschantz filed in Mohawk. No one filed in Carrollton A, while Tiffany Swonger Parker filed in Carrollton B.

Mark W. Walters filed in Center, Patricia Oyer in East and Dena C. Barnett in Fox. No one filed in Harrison A, while Talinia M. Gongola filed in Harrison B.
