ODOT projects to affect Carroll County traffic
State Route 39 is closed west of Salineville for 75 days, and chip seal work continues on Route 164 through Sept. 30
The following Ohio Department of Transportation construction projects are expected to affect traffic in Carroll County. All work is weather permitting.

State Route 39 major pavement rehabilitation west of Salineville: State Route 39 is closed from state Route 524 in Mechanicstown to the Carroll/Columbiana County line west of Salineville for a major pavement rehabilitation project. The closure will last 75 days. Traffic will be detoured via state Route 524 south to state Route 164 north, state Route 164 north back to state Route 39, and reverse. The overall completion date is Sept. 30.
State Route 164 chip seal preventive maintenance: Work is underway to chip seal state Route 164 from Bergholz in Jefferson County through Carroll County, ending in Salineville. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers. The completion date is Sept. 30.
