Girdlestone receives Rotary scholarship award

Girdlestone was awarded one of two $1,000 scholarships presented by the club this year. He was the salutatorian of the Carrollton High School Class of 2026 and has enrolled at Bowling Green State University, where he plans to study business analytics and intelligence.

He said he hopes to graduate in three years with a bachelor's degree by applying college credits he has already earned.

Outside of academics, Girdlestone enjoys spending time with friends, bowling and golfing.
